Days can be spent working or relaxing on the sanctuary, exploring the nearby area (including the Winelands or Cape Town itself), or spending time peacefully overseeing our resident cheetahs. Of course, if you like, you are more than welcome to participate in helping the staff with the daily duties.
Daily duties include cleaning of enclosures, enrichment, feeding all animals as well as general maintenance and gardening work.
Our volunteer coordinator will be more than happy to assist you with anything you need to know.
You will receive training material, a volunteer manual and an Ashia t-shirts. Wi-Fi is available at all Working holiday units and certain areas on the Sanctuary.
